Herbal Pet Wormer
Old-Fashioned Cleansers For A Modern World
We always recommend deworming your pets at the same time as doing your own parasite cleanse. This will lessen the chance of reinfection from your furry pals.
The pet wormer is an all natural herbal blend, made from the same high quality ingredients as our other products. It comes in a loose powder that is sprinkled on your pet's food.
Pet Wormer should be used 2-3 times per year. Pet Wormer can be used on pets as soon as they are weaned, simply adjust the dose down.
Inside pets 2 times per year and outside pets 3 times per year.
Any left over powder can be stored in the freezer for future use. The dosing is as follows:
1 pinch for every 5 pounds of body weight 3 times per day for 5 days. If dosing 3 times per day is not possible, then take the total daily amount and divide in half and dose 2 times per day.
TOTAL DAILY AMOUNTS
5-10 pounds = 1/8 t. total daily
11-15lbs = 1/4 t. total daily
16-20 = 1/3 t. total daily
21-30 = 1/2 t. total daily
31-40 = 3/4 t. total daily
41-50 = 1 t. total daily
51-60 = 1 & 1/8 t. total daily
61-70 = 1 & 1/4 t. total daily
71-80 = 1 & 1/2 t. total daily
81-90 = 1 & 3/4 t. total daily
100 = 2 t. total daily
1 ounce will treat a 100 pound dog for 5 days
1/2 ounce will treat a 50 pound dog for 5 days
1/4 ounce will treat a 25 pound dog for 5 days
1/8 ounce will treat a 12 pound dog for 5 days
Your Pet Wormer will keep fresh if it is stored in a cool, air-tight, dry, dark place. The freezer is ideal. If deworming indoor cats, be sure to clean and disinfect the litter box daily as they will be passing parasites and parasite eggs. If deworming outdoor pets, remove all visible feces immediately.
You can also daily disinfect their outdoor bathroom area by mixing 1 cup of regular strength bleach to 1 gallon of water and spraying where they have defecated. This will help remove parasite eggs that pass in the feces and will help prevent reinfection.
Do not be alarmed if your pet vomits parasites - this does not always happen, but it will happen on occasion in some pets. Vomiting is one of their body's ways of removing harmful substances - including parasites.
Very few pets will refuse the herbal wormer when mixed in their food - however, if this occurs, many pet owners find that mixing the dose into a spoonful of honey or molasses will do the trick quite nicely. Even the pickiest cat will take their Pet Wormer if it is mixed into tuna or tuna oil.
